Every MAESLUX model has its own material and movement specification. We select components for durability, comfort, serviceability and the intended character of the watch.

The exact construction of your watch is always stated on its product page. Materials vary by collection; no single specification is presented as universal.

01 — Construction

Case, bracelet & strap materials

The material around a movement changes the weight, feel and long-term wearing experience. MAESLUX uses different solutions according to the purpose of each model.

316L stainless steel

Selected MAESLUX cases and bracelets use 316L stainless steel, valued in watchmaking for its corrosion resistance, strength and ability to hold precise brushed and polished finishes.

Titanium

Used in the Arctic B Titanium case and bracelet, titanium offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and strong resistance to corrosion. The result is a substantial sports watch that feels notably lighter on the wrist.

Genuine leather

Available on selected references, genuine leather provides a softer, more traditional character. Because leather is a natural material, subtle variations and patina are part of its identity.

02 — Protection

Sapphire crystal

Sapphire crystal is chosen across MAESLUX collections for clarity and strong scratch resistance in daily wear. It protects the dial while preserving a clean view of its depth, finishing and applied details.

Hard surface

Laboratory-grown sapphire is considerably more resistant to everyday scratching than common mineral watch glass.

Optical clarity

Its transparent, stable surface helps the dial remain crisp and legible through years of regular use.

Honest care

Scratch resistant does not mean unbreakable. A strong impact can chip or damage any watch crystal, so appropriate care is still important.

Its prestige comes from an established culture of horology in which engineering, finishing and traceable origin are treated as essential parts of the finished timepiece.

Japanese automatic movements

Japanese mechanical watchmaking earned global respect through disciplined manufacturing, practical innovation and consistent reliability. These movements are valued for robust architecture, efficient production and dependable daily performance, making them an important part of modern automatic watchmaking.

Movement origin alone does not determine quality. The calibre, its grade, regulation, assembly and final quality control must be evaluated together. The exact movement fitted to each available MAESLUX watch is identified on its individual product page.

04 — Origin & assembly

Swiss Made, stated with precision.

Models identified as Swiss Made are assembled and inspected in Switzerland through specialized watchmaking partners. The designation is used only when the finished watch meets the applicable Swiss-origin requirements.

Swiss Made production includes component verification, assembly, functional inspection and the quality-control procedures applicable to the model. Every MAESLUX watch is supported by a five-year international warranty as part of our commitment to dependable ownership and after-sales service.

Frequently asked questions

Are all MAESLUX watches made from titanium?
No. Materials vary by model. Arctic B Titanium uses titanium for its case and bracelet, while other references use 316L stainless steel or are offered with genuine leather straps. Check the individual product specifications before purchase.
Is sapphire crystal impossible to damage?
Sapphire is highly scratch resistant, but it is not indestructible. A severe impact may chip, crack or break the crystal.
Are Swiss movements better than Japanese movements?
Origin alone does not determine whether one movement is better. Swiss movements are strongly associated with horological heritage, prestige, refinement and an established service network. Japanese movements are respected for efficient engineering, durability and consistent reliability. The calibre, grade, regulation and final quality control matter more than nationality by itself.
Are all MAESLUX watches Swiss Made?
No. Swiss Made is a model-specific origin designation. MAESLUX uses it only on watches represented as meeting the applicable Swiss requirements. Other references clearly identify their movement and specifications without presenting a universal Swiss Made claim.
How does MAESLUX support product quality?
Swiss Made models are assembled and inspected in Switzerland through specialized watchmaking partners. Each available reference clearly identifies its movement, principal materials, water-resistance rating and origin, and every MAESLUX watch is backed by a five-year international warranty.
