My fascination with watches started many years before MAESLUX existed.
When I was young, my father wore a Bulova I remember seeing it on his wrist a quiet symbol of responsibility, discipline, and the passing of time. It was not simply an object; it was part of his daily life.
One day he gave me my first watch. It was a Timex with Mickey Mouse on the dial.
It was simple, playful, and unforgettable.
That moment planted something deeper than I understood at the time: a respect for time, for craftsmanship, and for the quiet meaning a watch can carry.
Years passed, but that early fascination never disappeared.
The Birth of MAESLUX
MAESLUX was founded from a personal vision: to create watches that reflect precision, elegance, and timeless design.
The name MAESLUX carries a meaning rooted in both heritage and symbolism.
“MAES” is inspired by the founder’s maternal family name, Maestres, representing lineage, mastery, and tradition.
“LUX” comes from the Latin word for light a universal symbol of clarity, purpose, and brilliance.
Together, the name represents a philosophy:
heritage illuminated by vision.
